GLENVILLE, N.Y. (AP) _ TrustCo Bank Corp. NY (TRST) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $16 million.

The Glenville, New York-based bank said it had earnings of 17 cents per share.

The holding company for Trustco Bank posted revenue of $51.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $45.2 million, surpassing Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $61.4 million, or 64 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $178.8 million.

TrustCo shares have risen 13 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 15 percent in the last 12 months.
