TransDigm: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot

CLEVELAND (AP) _ TransDigm Group Inc. (TDG) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of $346.9 million.

The Cleveland-based company said it had net income of $4.63 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $5.62 per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $5.08 per share.

The aircraft components maker posted revenue of $1.54 billion in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.66 billion.

For the year, the company reported profit of $889.8 million, or $13.84 per share. Revenue was reported as $5.22 billion.

TransDigm expects full-year earnings in the range of $19.80 to $21.20 per share, with revenue in the range of $6.18 billion to $6.33 billion.

TransDigm shares have increased 67% since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 63% in the last 12 months.
