Tiger Singapore’s traffic jumped 23% to 722m

Here are more good news.

According to a release, for the month of January 2013, Tiger Singapore recorded a 23% increase in traffic to 722 million revenue passenger-kilometres (RPK).

As the increase in traffic outpaced the 8% increase in capacity, passenger load factor improved by 10 percentage points to 84%, from 74% a year ago. The number of passengers carried grew 16% compared to January 2012, to 383,000 passengers.

For the 12 months to January 2013, Tiger Singapore recorded an 18% increase in traffic to 7.7 billion RPK, following a 14% increase in capacity to 9.1 billion ASK. Consequently, passenger load factor was 84%, up three percentage points from the corresponding period last year. The number of passengers carried grew 11% to 4.3 million passengers.
