Texas Instruments shares drop, United Continental shares fly high, Ericsson shares surge

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day.

Texas Instruments (TXN): Shares are down in early trading, at around 0.28%. Brian Crutcher resigned as the company’s CEO, president and board member after violating the company’s code of conduct. Crutcher began his stint as CEO on June 1. The company says that Texas Instrument Chairman Rich Templeton will return to his role as CEO on an “ongoing, indefinite basis.”

United Continental (UAL): Shares are up at around 7.6%. The airline reported adjusted quarterly profit of $3.23 per share, 16 cents above consensus estimates. United’s revenue exceeded forecasts, and it also raised its full-year profit forecast as it makes efforts to gain market share.
