Germany's EnBW signs 15-year LNG supply deal with ADNOC
German utility company EnBW said it has signed a 15-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) contract with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), as Europe boosts LNG imports after Russia's invasion of Ukraine curtailed westbound pipeline gas shipments. ADNOC, which in March committed to delivering LNG to EnBW's German rival SEFE from its new Ruwais LNG project from 2028 onwards, is set to send 0.6 million metric tons per year to EnBW also from 2028, an EnBW press release said on Wednesday. For EnBW, a south west German power and gas supplier, the step marks its first LNG contract with a Middle Eastern partner, which it said will help it diversify its procurement and speed the creation of an LNG value chain.

Oil recovers on US crude storage draw, rise in China imports
Oil prices rose on Thursday as falling U.S. crude inventories and higher Chinese imports supported expectations for demand growth in the world's two largest crude-consuming nations. Brent crude futures for July were up 57 cents, or 0.7%, to $84.15 a barrel at 1131 GMT. Crude inventories in the U.S., the world's biggest oil user, fell last week by 1.4 million barrels to 459.5 million, according to the Energy Information Administration, more than analysts' expectations for a 1.1 million-barrel draw.

Oil ends slightly firmer after US crude stock draw, firmer dollar
NEW YORK (Reuters) -Oil prices edged higher on Wednesday after data showed U.S. crude stockpiles fell last week as refiners slowly ramped up output ahead of the summer driving season, while a stronger dollar capped gains. Brent crude oil futures settled 42 cents, or 0.5%, higher at $83.58 a barrel. U.S. crude inventories fell by 1.4 million barrels to 459.5 million barrels last week, government data showed, compared with a 1.1 million-barrel draw that analysts forecast and industry data that showed a 509,000-barrel increase.
