Stocks In Focus SG (GLP, Ley Choon, Sheng Siong) – 10/06/14

  • Global Logistic Properties (GLP) inked a build-to-suit agreement with Deppon Logistics for a 25,000 square metres (sqm) distribution centre at GLP Park Jinjiang in Greater Xiamen, China.

  • Ley Choon Group Holdings has been awarded $20.4 million worth of contracts by the Public Utilities Board. The contracts, expected to last from 2014 to 2016, include the supply and laying of water mains. The contracts lift the firm’s order book to $201.4 million.

  • Sheng Siong Group has been granted an option to buy a three-storey commercial property, spanning 3,876 sqm, in Tampines Central for $65 million. The firm targets to open a new store, measuring 910 sqm, in 1Q15, which will be expanded as existing tenancies expire in 2016 and 2017.
