Singapore projects win top honours in HK

By Romesh Navaratnarajah: The MIPIM Asia Awards have recognised the most outstanding real estate projects in the Asia Pacific region this year, with several developments from Singapore clinching gold, silver and bronze awards.

Winners were ranked according to the jury's votes together with votes from delegates at MIPIM Asia, both groups each responsible for 50 percent of the decision-making process. The final results were announced at a gala dinner held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong last night.

Under the Best Innovative Green Building category, developer Lend Lease won the gold award for Jem, while City Developments and Hong Realty clinched silver for Haus@Serangoon Garden.

Singapore also took home three major awards under the Best Residential Development category – Park Court won gold for JKC1, UOL Group clinched silver for Duchess Residences, while Ascentia Sky by Wing Tai Land got bronze.
