Singapore March core inflation eases to 1.4 pct, misses estimates
SINGAPORE, April 23 (Reuters) - Singapore's March core inflation eased to its lowest level in almost a year, data on Tuesday showed, missing expectations.
The 1.4 percent year-on-year reading was the lowest since April 2018.
The median forecast in a Reuters poll was for the measure closely watched by policymakers to rise 1.7 percent from a year earlier, edging up from February's 1.5 percent print.
Singapore's headline consumer price index edged up to 0.6 percent in March from a year earlier, in line with the poll expectations.
