Rogers Communications’ Sportsnet will be waiving fees for its SN NOW streaming service for “at least the next month” due to COVID-19.

A spokesperson said in an email that the decision will be re-evaluated on a month-to-month basis. The carrier will also be making NHL Live, its hockey streaming service, free for all Canadians starting March 20 until April 30.

Current subscribers to NHL Live will also have their fees waived until the league resumes play.

Sportsnet is also partnering with Bell’s TSN to air all of the Toronto Raptors championship run from last year.

A Bell spokesperson said in an email that no decision has been made yet for TSN Direct, the carrier’s sports streaming service.

The spokesperson said that the carrier will continue to review the situation.
