Quad/Graphics: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

SUSSEX, Wis. (AP) _ Quad/Graphics Inc. (QUAD) on Tuesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $94 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Sussex, Wisconsin-based company said it had a loss of $1.85. Earnings, adjusted for restructuring costs and to account for discontinued operations, were 10 cents per share.

The printing company posted revenue of $843.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $128.3 million, or $2.53 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.93 billion.

Quad/Graphics shares have increased 36% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $5.18, a decrease of almost 5% in the last 12 months.
