It might only seem like yesterday that little Archie Mountbatten-Windsor was born, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son has now turned two!

To celebrate Archie's birthday, Meghan and Harry have shared a sweet new picture of the newly two-year-old, as well as a call to action for their community to help support vaccine equity around the world.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the new photo of Archie on their Archewell site - and he looks so grown up!

In the sepia-toned shot, Archie can be seen standing on the grass with his back to the camera, adorably holding a huge bouquet of balloons. He's wearing jeans, a jumper and trainers (and seems to have a full head of hair), which makes him look so much older than the last time we saw official pictures of him as a little baby.

The picture accompanied a page on Meghan and Harry's Archewell site, titled 'Join us in advocating for vaccine equity on Archie's birthday', with the couple urging their community to mark their son's birthday by supporting the cause.

You can see the sweet picture of Archie below:

Along with the photo, a story written by Team Archewell was shared on the site, reading:

"We have been deeply touched over the past two years to feel the warmth and support for our family in honor of Archie’s birthday. Many of you donate to charities on his behalf, and mark the occasion by giving back or doing an act of service—all through the goodness of your hearts. You raise funds for those who need it most, and continue to do so organically and selflessly. We remain incredibly grateful."

The article went on to explain the need for vaccine equity around the world, stating:

"As of today, around 80 percent of the nearly one billion COVID-19 vaccine shots that have been given were administered in wealthier countries. While we may feel that normalcy is around the corner, we remind ourselves that in much of the world, and especially in developing countries, vaccine distribution has effectively yet to start."

Asking readers to donate, the article explained that $5 donations will automatically be turned into $20, thanks to support from various organisations, which will cover the cost of four doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Meghan and Harry finished the piece by writing, "We cannot think of a more resonant way to honor our son’s birthday. If we all show up, with compassion for those we both know and don’t know, we can have a profound impact. Even a small contribution can have a ripple effect.Together, we can uplift, protect, and care for one another. Thank you for celebrating with us," finishing with signatures from both Harry and Meghan.

Happy birthday Archie!
