Portfolio of seven internationally-branded hotels in Thailand up for sale

One of the largest hotel portfolio opportunities is being brought to market in Asia. Colliers International has been appointed to market the sale of the portfolio, which comprises seven internationally-branded hotels located in Thailand.

The hotels are located in four popular travel destinations, namely Bangkok, Phuket, Hua Hin, and Koh Samui. The hotels are Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok; Swissotel Resort Phuket Kamala Beach; Swissotel Resort Phuket Patong Beach; Novotel Phuket Karon Beach Resort & Spa; Novotel Phuket Surin Beach Resort; Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort & Spa; and the upcoming Ibis Styles Koh Samui Chaweng Beach, which will open later this year. Six hotels are managed by AccorHotels and one by Marriott International/Starwood.

The hotels comprise a total of 1,688 rooms, which Colliers says will give the purchaser an immediate market-leading presence in these tourist hotspots. The portfolio has an average indicative price of USD 230,000 ($303,515) per key.

Colliers announced that they will be receiving offers for the portfolio of assets in writing by way of Private Treaty.
