Portfolio of nine HDB shops and shophouses up for sale

Nine HDB shops and shophouses have been launched for sale at an asking price of $34 million.

The total strata area of the nine units is 13,343 sq ft. They are currently fully tenanted.

The properties are located in the mature residential estates of Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Bedok, Tampines, Changi Village, Yishun and Ubi. According to sole marketing agent CBRE, they are in their respective town centres, have high pedestrian traffic, and are close to MRT stations, bus interchanges and food centres.

Sammi Lim, director of capital markets at CBRE, says it is “rare” for a HDB commercial portfolio in mature estates to be available for sale. She believes it will appeal to investors and end-users, “especially when there are only about 8,500 HDB shophouses that can be resold on the private market”.
