Move over Pat McGrath x Supreme, step aside Gucci glitter lipsticks, back up Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream, because there's a new cult beauty drop in town and it's all about Chanel.

Sending beauty lovers everywhere into a spin, Chanel's limited edition Factory 5 products are the ultimate collector's items. An ode to the fashion house's iconic Chanel No.5 scent in honour of its 100th birthday this year, the Factory 5 collection puts a satisfyingly domestic spin on the legendary fragrance.

Think paint pots of Chanel No.5 shower gel, oil cans of No.5 body oil and tins of, yep you guessed it, Chanel No.5 bath tablets. An Andy Warhol-esque high-low take on the instantly recognisable glass perfume bottle, the collection consists of 17 limited edition products all wrapped up in irreverent monochrome branding that's undeniably every packaging lover's dream.

You can even get your hands on a Chanel water bottle amusingly monogrammed with No.5 L'eau (get it?) or win the award for most chic gift wrapping with the black and white washi tape emblazoned with mini silhouettes of Marilyn's favourite fragrance flacon.

Speaking on the everyday update of the infamous scent, Chanel's Head of Global Creative Resources Fragrance and Beauty, Thomas Du Pré Saint Maur said:

'Through this concept, we want to return to the creation process of the first N°5 packaging. At the time, it was a simple laboratory bottle, a functional object that became luxurious and iconic. There was already this notion of transforming a common, ultra-functional object into a precious one. CHANEL FACTORY 5 celebrates this approach, this step to the side, in its own way.'

Chanel fans listen up, because as well as snapping up your very own No.5 L'eau water bottle online, you can also check out the full Factory 5 drop in real life. To celebrate the launch and pay homage to the original No.5, Chanel will be hosting a month-long pop-up at the Selfridge's Corner Shop, open to everyone from 5 - 31 July. Just think of the photo opportunities.

But, if you can't make it down to Bond Street, you can get in on the hype without leaving your living room. Shop the Chanel Factory 5 collection below...
