Those results leave the bottom three of Rotherham, Wednesday and Wycombe all level on 44 points, one adrift of Derby, although Rotherham have a potentially crucial game in hand to come against mid-table Luton on Tuesday night.
Brentford, Swansea, Bournemouth and Barnsley are already guaranteed play-off berths, meanwhile.
Peterborough will be playing Championship football again next season after a remarkable and controversial fightback from 3-0 down to draw against Lincoln, who can no longer hope to achieve automatic promotion and will contest the League One play-offs.
