New Ang Mo Kio condo AMO Residence to preview on 9 July, prices from S$1,890 psf

SINGAPORE — UOL Group Limited, Singapore Land Group and Kheng Leong Co. will jointly unveil AMO Residence for preview on Saturday (9 July).

It is the first major private residential project in the mature housing estate of Ang Mo Kio in more than eight years, UOL said in a statement Thursday.

AMO Residence will have a total of 372 units spread across two 25-storey towers that offer unblocked views of the surrounding area, which is in the vicinity of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Lower Peirce Reservoir Park and a low-rise private housing estate.

The 99-year leasehold development will comprise two- to five-bedroom units ranging from 614 sq ft to 1,475 sq ft. Three exclusive penthouses of 2,293 sq ft to 2,497 sq ft will also be available for sale. Over 80 per cent, or 300 units, comprise two and three bedrooms.

Prices start from S$1,890 psf. A two-bedroom unit starts from S$1.26 million while a three-bedroom is from S$1.81 million.

"AMO Residence is likely to attract owner-occupiers due to the limited supply of new developments in the Outside Central Region, as well as the availability of units at an attractive price quantum," Jesline Goh, UOL Chief Investment and Asset Officer, said.

Located off Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, AMO Residence is within a five-minute walk to Mayflower MRT station on the Thomson-East Coast Line, and one stop to Bright Hill MRT interchange on the future Cross Island Line.

Popular schools within 1km of AMO Residence include Ai Tong School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School and Ang Mo Kio Primary School. The development is also in the vicinity of restaurants and shops at Junction 8, AMK Hub and Thomson Plaza.

The project is expected to be completed in 2026.

UOL's recent residential project Clavon comprising 640 units was fully sold in June this year following its launch in December 2020.
