MercadoLibre Earnings Miss, Revenue Beats In Q3

Investing.com - MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI) reported third quarter earnings that missed analysts' expectations on Thursday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $-2.96 on revenue of $603.03M. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $0.02 on revenue of $590.59M. That compared to EPS of $-0.23 on revenue of $355.28M in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.31 on revenue of $545.24M in the previous quarter.

MercadoLibre follows other major Technology sector earnings this month

On Wednesday, Apple reported fourth quarter EPS of $3.03 on revenue of $64.04B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $2.83 on revenue of $62.94B.
