MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - July 12, 2014) - Zumba® Creator Beto joins international pop star Shakira during rehearsals at Maracanã stadium in Rio de Janeiro to choreograph her closing ceremony performance for Sunday's Final Match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. The Colombian duo have come full circle -- having first worked together in Bogotá in the mid-1990s on Shakira's breakthrough album "Pies Descalzos" -- to perform tomorrow on the world's biggest stage, estimated to attract hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide.

"What an amazing experience to be here!" said Beto, who traveled from Zumba's headquarters in Miami to choreograph the dance moves to Shakira's international hit "La la la (Brazil 2014)." "I am grateful, fortunate and happy beyond belief to work alongside one of the most incredible and influential artists in the world."

A professional dancer and fitness instructor for more than 20 years, Beto's easy-to-follow choreography routines set to global rhythms have spread to 180 countries over the past decade, making Zumba® the largest fitness program in the world. He's excited to team up again with global sensation Shakira and take his moves to the World Cup stage in Brazil.

The closing ceremony featuring a superstar line-up of artists will take place at approximately 1:20 p.m., ET, before the Final Match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.
