Margot Robbie and Noah Schnapp lead celebrity reactions as Ekin-Su and Davide win Love Island 2022

Hollywood actress Margot Robbie and Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp were among the fans left jumping for joy as Ekin-Su CülcüloÄŸlu and Davide Sanclimenti were crowned the winners of Love Island 202 on Monday night.

According to ITV, 3.4 million viewers tuned in to see the 27-year-old actress and the Italian stallion, also 27, scoop the £50,000 prize thanks to their fiery chemistry.

Schnapp, 17, who plays Will Byers in the hit Netflix series, rushed to comment “Yes!!!” under CülcüloÄŸlu’s Instagram snap following her and Sanclimenti’s triumph.

Barbie star Robbie meanwhile praised the couple for providing “pure entertainment”.

“I think Davide and Ekin-Su have made the season,” she told The Sun.

Former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison took to Instagram stories, writing: “Go on @ekinsuofficial and @davidesancli.”

While over on Twitter, 2019 winner Amber Gill tweeted: “MOM & DAD,” along with a string of trophy emojis.

Love Island 2017 winner Amber Davies added: “On behalf of the UK… we love you.”

Love Island host Laura Whitmore was equally thrilled with the result, writing: “I love them so much!!! Our winners.”

Four couples ended up in the final with Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri finishing in fourth place and Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope ending the series in third place.

Gemma Owen and Luca Bish finished as runners-up.

Owen’s famous footballer dad Michael Owens may have not been present for the meet the parents episode, but he certainly made his pride in his daughter known following the results.

“What a special girl,” the dad-of-four wrote alongside an image of him and the brunette.

Adding: “So proud of you”.

The former England captain then informed her to “get home” as “we’ve all missed you”.
