March 19 re-mention for Penang nude games case – Bernama

The case of four individuals who allegedly participated in a “nude sports fest” at Teluk Kampi, Penang National Park in Teluk Bahang last year, has been fixed for re-mention on March 19.

Magistrate Nurul Rasyidah Mohd Akit set the date after counsel V. Parthipan requested a new date to enable the defence to study a video which it had only recently obtained from the prosecution.

The lawyer who is representing one of the accused, Teh Guan Hoon, disclosed this to reporters when met outside the court.

On August 28 last year, three women – Chew Tok Hwa, 57; Chan Chia Wen, 27; Teh, 37 – and a man, Kong Meng Leong, 38, claimed trial to causing public annoyance with their nudity at Pantai Teluk Kampi between 3pm and 6pm on May 30, last year.
