Largest Hilton in Asia Pacific opens in Singapore

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - OUE Ltd and OUE Commercial REIT Management, in its capacity as manager of OUE Commercial Real Estate Investment Trust (OUE C-REIT) announced the opening of Hilton Singapore Orchard, the Hilton brand’s flagship hotel in Singapore and its largest in Asia Pacific. Formerly known as Mandarin Orchard Singapore, the hotel was rebranded into Hilton Singapore Orchard, featuring 1,080 guestrooms and suites, new and enhanced MICE facilities, as well as revamped and fresh F&B offerings.

The hotel will have one of the largest event venues in the heart of Singapore’s Orchard Road, with 16 modern and versatile meeting spaces totalling 2,400 sqm (25,834 sq ft). This includes two pillarless ballrooms fitted with state-of-the-art LED walls. The addition of new income-generating spaces within the property will drive future growth in sustainable returns and value for the unitholders, according to OUE C-REIT.

Beneath the two hotel towers are five curated dining concepts, namely Italian dining experience Osteria Mozza, helmed by famed American chef Nancy Silverton; award-winning Chatterbox which returns with local favourites amid brand-new interiors; all-day dining options at the botanical- inspired Ginger.Lily lounge and bar; all-day dining restaurant Estate; and two Michelin-starred Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro. completes the selection at Hilton Singapore Orchard.

“Tapping on the international hospitality brand’s strengths, we have sharpened the property’s positioning for its next phase of growth as global economies reopen and travel demand recovers,” said Brian Riady, OUE deputy CEO and executive director.

The opening of Hilton’s largest hotel in Asia Pacific, Hilton Singapore Orchard is poised to capture the nascent recovery in the hospitality sector with the opening of Singapore’s borders and establishment of more quarantine-free Vaccinated Travel Lanes, said Alan Watts, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton.
