Keong Hong’s Singapore Hotel JV appoints Intercontinental

Keong Hong Holdings Limited announced t‎hat its Singapore Hotel JV has appointed Intercontinental Hotels to manage the Hotel. The Hotel is located in Katong/Joo Chiat heritage precinct, Singapore. It will be a 25,000 sqm mixed development with 2 hotels and retail units. The 2 hotels will have 131 and 451 rooms respectively. The bigger hotel will take the name Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong. The hotels are expected to open in 2016. Keong Hong’s JV partners are Master Contract Services Pte Ltd and Asia Development Pte Ltd.

GET TO THE POINT : Good signal that the Joo Chiat Hotel has attracted a big name in Intercontinental to manage the hotel. This adds credibility.
