John Hindaugh Made Huge Sacrifices to Keep Radio Le Mans On the Air
How close was Radio Le Mans from falling into a permanent silence in 2006? After its former owners pulled the plug, John Hindhaugh, the voice of RLM, sold his house and handed over the proceeds to the organizers of the legendary 24-hour race for one shot at bringing the event to the English-speaking world.
Hindy's amazing leap of faith, in concert with his wife and partner Eve, ensured the Radio Le Mans brand, under the Radio Show Limited banner, continued, and with expansions into coverage of IMSA and the World Endurance Championship, their investment serves millions of sports car fans throughout the globe.
After visitingThe Marshall Pruett Podcast in March to discuss his background in Part 1, Hindaugh is back for Part 2 to bring you inside the business of RLM/RSL and how it evolved since its debut in the 1980s.
