Who is Jo Davidson's blood relative and all the other Line of Duty theories
Where bent coppers go, drama follows, and not least last night on the latest episode of Line of Duty.
SPOILERS AHEAD!
A shoot out! A dangerous stalking! Eyes and ears everywhere! Ryan Pilkington being the absolute worst! Deleted emails! Superintendent Ted Hastings closing the belter of an episode with the immortal, 'Mother of God'!
After the most dramatic episode of the series so far, we still have many many questions. Here's what we reckon so far....
Who is Joanne Davidson's blood relative?
Everyone in the land watching on iPlayer rewound the last ten seconds of episode four to see who was on the document Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and Chloe Bishop (Shalome Brune-Franklin) handed to Hastings (Adrian Dunbar) when he explained that Jo Davidson (Kelly Macdonald)'s blood relative was on the police system as a DNA match.

But who could it be? There's plenty of theories rattling around but the most popular so far is Tommy Hunter, who appeared in series one and two. He tortured Tony Gates, and the plan to stop him from talking from witness protection (when he was killed) got Lindsey Denton in trouble and Jane Akers murdered. He's also Glaswegian, like Jo.
There's also suggestions she's linked to Mark Dryden, who had an affair with Lindsey Denton and had links to the OCG. He's also Scottish.
There's a photo on Jo Davidson's sideboard (which she threw a glass of wine at earlier in the series.

It's been suggested by fans that the woman here could be Andrea Wise, Hastings' boss who's forced early retirement upon him, and slashing the budget of all police anti corruption units.
What did Jimmy Lakewell tell Steve?
One of the many red herrings of the episode perhaps? After the dramatic shoot out when Arnott removed Lakewell from the prison for questioning in safer surroundings (!), Lakewell mentioned that their conversation couldn't be used in evidence.
When he withdrew his intention to make a statement and go into witness protection, his choice of words was, well, interesting.
Who killed Jimmy Lakewell?
Recognise this guy? He was part of the OCG in the last series, but you'll be forgiven for not realising that Jimmy's killer is a wrong'un who was running around with John Corbett (when he was undercover) and evil child Ryan Pilkington.
That’s the lad who killed your man in the cell isn’t it ? #lineofduty pic.twitter.com/zbh1FlL8Tl

His name is Lee Banks, and he's also an associate of Robert Denmoor, one of the original Balaclava Men. Robert was shot dead by Hastings at the end of season four.
In season five, Ted visited Lee Banks at the prison to glean information which we haven't yet been privy to. What is going on?
Why did Jimmy get killed?
In the words of Ryan Pilkington, 'for being a rat'.
Steve recognised Lakewell's voice on the sound file unearthed from murdered journalist Gail Vella and set the wheels in motion to speak to him about why Gail was killed - and the ensuing police corruption.
Jimmy was the lawyer for Roz and Nick Huntley in series four, and organised Steve being thrown down the stairs by one of the 'Balaclava Men'.
Line of Duty continues, Sundays at 9pm on BBC One
