IQVIA: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

DANBURY, Conn. (AP) _ IQVIA Holdings Inc. (IQV) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $60 million.

The Danbury, Connecticut-based company said it had net income of 29 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.42 per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 13 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.39 per share.

The clinical testing company posted revenue of $2.59 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Eleven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.58 billion.

IQVIA expects full-year earnings in the range of $5.45 to $5.55 per share, with revenue in the range of $10.34 billion to $10.39 billion.

IQVIA shares have risen 30 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 23 percent in the last 12 months.
