Here's Why T-Mobile (TMUS) is a Strong Momentum Stock

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Bellevue, WA, T-Mobile US, Inc. is a national wireless service provider. The company offers its services under the T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile and Sprint brands. T-Mobile, through its subsidiaries, provides wireless services for branded postpaid and prepaid, and wholesale customers.

TMUS sits at a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold), holds a Momentum Style Score of A, and has a VGM Score of A. The stock is up 0.3% and up 1% over the past one-week and four-week period, respectively, and T-Mobile has gained 15.8% in the last one-year period as well. Additionally, an average of 4,484,859 shares were traded over the last 20 trading sessions.

Momentum investors also pay close attention to a company's earnings. For TMUS, five analysts revised their earnings estimate upwards in the last 60 days, and the Zacks Consensus Estimate has increased $0.13 to $9.02 per share for 2024. TMUS boasts an average earnings surprise of 2.5%.
