Heartland BancCorp. posts profit of $2.2 million in fourth quarter

GAHANNA, Ohio (AP) _ Heartland BancCorp. (HLAN) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $2.2 million.

The Gahanna, Ohio-based bank said it had earnings of $1.33 per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $9.2 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $8.2 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $8 million, or $4.97 per share. Revenue was reported as $31.3 million.

Heartland BancCorp. shares have climbed 14 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $73, an increase of 56 percent in the last 12 months.
