The Bedok North Springs and Bedok South Bloom HDB BTO Feb 2024 projects are likely to see strong interest from those who are eyeing a home in a mature estate. One reason: even though they’ve been launched in a mature estate, they are not part of the Prime Location Public Housing (PLH) model.

Luckily for applicants, the Bedok HDB BTO Feb 2024 launch will be quite a big one, with 961 BTO flats being released across two sites. The Bedok North Springs HDB BTO Feb 2024 project is bounded by the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE), North Street 3, and Bedok North Avenue 3, while the Bedok South Bloom HDB BTO Feb 2024 project is located along New Upper Changi Road and near The Marketplace @ 58.

Apply for a BTO Flat in 2024 (Video)

Before applying for a BTO launch, you must secure an HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter, assess your HDB flat, and check your  CPF Housing Grant and HDB loan eligibility.

You can do this via the HDB Flat Portal using your Singpass. Once logged in, you can enter your eligibility criteria information and apply for the HDB HFE letter. You must submit your HDB HFE letter alongside your BTO application.

The Bedok South bloom Bedok HDB BTO Feb 2024 site will be located on New Upper Changi Road, approximately an 18-minute walk from Bedok and Tanah Merah MRT stations, respectively.

While not close to Bedok MRT station, the Bedok South Bloom HDB BTO Feb 2024 project still occupies a fairly central spot in Bedok. They are about an 18-minute walk to the town centre and its key amenities, including Bedok Mall, Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre, Djitsun Mall Bedok, Heartbeat @ Bedok, and the Bedok Town Square. It is also right across the road from Bedok Stadium.

Families with kids will be able to choose from numerous schools located within walking distance, including Bedok Green Primary School and Temasek Junior College.

BTO Application Process Updates

Every BTO applicant must apply for the HDB Flat Eligibility (HFE) letter before applying for a BTO flat. You must secure a valid HFE letter before applying for a BTO flat in the BTO February 2024 launch. Although the processing of applications usually takes up to 21 working days, delays may be experienced during peak periods (eg. BTO launch week).

Now, first-timer BTO applicants who reject a BTO offer will be considered second-timer applicants for one full year. If they reject yet another offer following a second BTO application, they will not be allowed to apply for BTO flats for a year.

The Family and Parenthood Priority Scheme (FPPS) has also replaced the previous HDB scheme, the Parenthood Priority Scheme (PPS). Under the FPPS, a new subset of applicants, the First-Timer (Parents and Couples) category, or FT (PMC). 40% of the BTO flats in each sales exercise will be reserved for eligible people classified as FT(PMC).

FT (PMC) applicants who fail to secure a BTO flat in two or more BTO applications in a non-mature estate will get an additional chance in every subsequent BTO application.  This rule was designed to assist those who have failed to secure a BTO flat after repeated attempts.
