GuocoLand has commenced construction of its mixed-use project in Shanghai, the property group said on Nov 6.
The property, called Guoco Changfeng City, is located in the Changfeng Eco Business District in Putuo District. The development will comprise two 18-storey Grade A office towers, two low-rise office buildings and a retail centre, which includes entertainment and F&B options.
Guoco Changfeng City will be integrated with Shanghai’s Metro Line 15, an upcoming metro station which will be completed in 2020. The completion of the Shanghai North Cross Passage expressway next year will “further boost the development’s accessibility”, says GuocoLand.
The development, slated for completion in 2021, will be equipped with features such as solar panels on the office roof, shower facilities on every office floor, and electrical floor heating at the ground floor lobby. There will also be outdoor charging stations for portable devices.
GuocoLand has developed and sold properties in Changfeng, including office towers, SoHo units, serviced apartments and residential units at Changfeng Residence. It has also developed Guoman Shanghai hotel, which it manages and owns, in Changfeng.
