Frasers Property sells 32 units at Riviere

On the first weekend of sales at Rivière, 32 out of an initial 60 units released were sold as at 5pm on June 2. The 455-unit luxury condo, developed by Singapore-listed property group Frasers Property Ltd, is located on Jiak Kim Street, with a 300m frontage of the Singapore River. The project is within a three- to four-minute walk of two upcoming MRT stations on the Thomson-East Coast Line, namely Great World and Havelock Road.

The project has a good mix of one- to four-bedroom units, with sizes ranging from 560 to 2,002 sq ft. The project has twin 36-storey residential towers; a low-rise, four-storey new-build development with 80 serviced apartments to be managed by Frasers Hospitality; and the existing warehouses or godowns that have been conserved. It’s where Zouk nightclub was located for 26 years before its relocation to Clarke Quay. The warehouses will be converted into alternative commercial uses including F&B, specialty supermarket and communal amenities to be shared by both residents of the serviced apartments as well as residents at Rivière.

“We have a good mix of local and foreign buyers, who are attracted to the excellent location and design sensibilities of this rare development,” says a Frasers Property Singapore spokesperson. “This first batch of units released for sale largely comprises our one- and two-bedders, with some three- and four-bedders.”

Units sold were priced from $2,580 psf or in excess of $1.53 million for a one-bedroom unit.
