European stocks close narrowly mixed

Europe's main stock markets closed narrowly mixed on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index slipping 0.01 percent to end the day at 6,722.62 points.

The Paris CAC 40 rose 0.18 percent to 4,390.18 points, while in Frankfurt the DAX 30 added 0.06 percent to 9,980.85.
