Saniflo Canada, one of the leaders in macerating toilet systems, is pleased to feature the SANICOMPACT and SANISTAR, two eco-friendly toilets that help reduce water consumption. Both products utilize a dual flush system, which uses approximately 38% less water per flush than a low-flush toilet, which not only contributes to helping the environment, but also increases the Return On Investment (ROI) on any home.

According to Environment Canada, a low-flush toilet uses approximately 6 litres of water per flush. Assuming that each person uses four flushes per day, that translates into nearly 9,000 litres per person per year. For a family of four, that's nearly 36,000 litres of water per year. Although this amount of water is considerably lower than the amount used in a standard toilet, you can save even more water with Saniflo's SANICOMPACT and SANISTAR. The systems use a fast-rotating blade to liquefy waste and toilet paper in the flush water, which is then discharged under pressure through small-bore piping to a drainage line or soil stack.

Saniflo macerating toilet systems can be installed on top of any finished floor eliminating the need for excavation of the existing floor or building a raised floor to install a drain line, as required by systems using a sewage ejector. The small-bore discharge piping can easily be installed and concealed inside existing walls.
