Dyna-Mac secures $89 million module fabrication contract

GSS Energy 1Q gets contribution from Oil & Gas business

Dyna-Mac Holdings Limited announced that it has been awarded an $89 million contract from BW Offshore. This is for the construction of 10 units of FPSO topside modules and 1 unit of flare tower. The units are for deployment in the UK sector of the North Sea. Delivery of the units is to be progressive within 1Q 2016. To date, Dyna-Mac has delivered 233 topside modules. BW Offshore is a repeat customer for Dyna-Mac. It is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and is a leading global provider of floating production services to the oil and gas industry. It currently operates a fleet of 14 FPSOs and 1 FSO.

GET TO THE POINT : Despite the current uncertainty of falling oil prices, work still carries on in the industry.
