Donald Trump has the sniffles, and Twitter can't shut up about it

Mucus got your tongue, Donald?

Donald Trump on Monday night set off an explosion on Twitter at the first presidential debate not by some outrageous remark, but by a bad case of the sniffles.

Trump was notably throaty as he answered moderator Lester Holt's first question at Hofstra University, where he faced off against Hillary Clinton, who looked more than bounced back from a case of pneumonia.

Early on, Twitter users were talking much more about Trump's husky voice than about the answers from both candidates.

One wag even started a Twitter feed dubbed "Trump Sniff."
