It takes some serious nerve to take a swipe at any of the Kardashian-Jenners, after all, their fiery clapbacks are legendary. But it seems Spring Breakers and High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens didn't quite get the memo.

On June 15, Kendall Jenner shared a snap of herself at the beach, wearing a high-waist bikini thong and mesh top. The post was then shared on Instagram by Complex, along with the caption: "summer bod ☀️🌊".

While nearly half a million people liked the repost (and over seven million liked the original), Vanessa clearly wasn't one of them. She took it upon herself to correct the caption, and take a stand for bodies of all shapes and sizes.

"*A* summer bod,” the actress slash singer commented, “Cause all bodies in the summer are summer bods. Just sayin 😉".

The comment quickly racked up over 32 thousand likes, and fans applauded the star for speaking up. "This is why we love you,” one fan replied, “Came here for THIS! Thank you!” another added.

Vanessa is no stranger when it comes to being open and honest about body image. In an interview with Seventeen, she said, "When I was younger, I despised my legs. I thought I had tree stumps for legs."

"As I got older, I learned to appreciate them. I have muscular legs, and not a lot of people have that. It just makes my legs look better when I wear high heels and now I definitely appreciate it."

"You just have to work with what you got” she added.

Hear, hear! 👏👏👏
