Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

(Updates Berkshire Hathaway; adds Apollo Infrastructure,)

March 21 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1945 GMT on Monday:

** Apollo Infrastructure, a unit of investment firm Apollo Global Management Inc, has agreed to buy a stake in Spanish road freight operator Primafrio.

** The London Stock Exchange Group said it will sell its wealth management technology operations BETA+ for $1.1 billion to affiliates of Clearlake Capital Group and Motive Partners to cut the exchange's leverage.

** Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc has struck an $11.6 billion deal to buy Alleghany Corp, the owner of reinsurer TransRe, just weeks after the 91-year-old billionaire bemoaned the lack of good investment opportunities.

** UAE hospital operator NMC Health has agreed the sale of its 53% stake in Saudi Medical Care Group (SMGC), offloading the last of its international businesses as part of a creditor-approved restructuring to help the group out of administration.

** Software maker Anaplan Inc agreed to be taken private by Thoma Bravo LP for $9.65 billion, in a sign of rising private equity interest in the cloud-based software space.

** Dialysis provider Fresenius Medical Care has agreed to merge its U.S. unit Fresenius Health Partners with medical services groups InterWell Health and Cricket Health to expand in the care of earlier stages of kidney disease.

** Brookfield Asset Management Inc's investment vehicle said it would buy asset manager La Trobe Financial in a $1.1 billion deal, as the Canadian alternative asset manager looks to expand into Australia.

** Struggling Finnish retailer Stockmann said it had sold its main department store and head office building in the heart of Helsinki to Finnish pension provider Keva for 400 million euros ($442 million) to pay off debts.

** Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust's unitholders will now have an option to receive consideration in cash from a proposed S$4.2 billion ($3.10 billion) merger with Mapletree Commercial Trust, the Temasek-linked Singapore real estate investment trusts said.

** Nielsen Holdings said that the company has rejected an unsolicited acquisition proposal from a private equity consortium that valued the TV ratings company at $9.13 billion.

** Reliance Retail, owned by Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, said it acquired a majority stake in Purple Panda Fashions Private Limited, which owns a popular lingerie brand, for $125 million, further expanding in the apparel and underwear sectors.
