After more than 26 years working at Keppel Land, its CEO Ang Wee Gee will be leaving the company on 31 December 2017, according to a statement from Keppel Corporation on Sunday (3 September).

Keppel Land is currently evaluating possible candidates for the CEO role.

“I thought this was a good time for me to step down to pursue other interests, confident that the strong management team that is now in place at Keppel Land can take the company to greater heights,” said Ang.

All future public housing blocks with at least 400 sq m (4,306 sq ft) of open roof space will be designed with solar-ready roofs, said the Housing and Development Board (HDB) last Friday (1 September).

This means that blocks will be “inbuilt with features to enable solar panels to be easily mounted and maintained”.

The HDB revealed that solar-ready roofs were first piloted on the rooftops of Build-to-Order project Punggol Edge in May 2012, with the construction of the solar-ready roofs completed in June 2016.

Kingsmen Creatives Ltd (SGX: 5MZ) will be going ex-dividend on Tuesday. The company provides interior fitting-out services and creates thematic displays for theme parks, among others.

It is giving out 1.0 Singapore cent per share for the second quarter.
