Crate & Barrel, CB2 to close operations in Singapore
Crate & Barrel and CB2's last day of operations is 31 May.
SINGAPORE – American furniture and homeware brand Crate & Barrel has announced that it will soon close its store in Singapore after 10 years of operations.
In a statement on Monday (15 May), the brand said that its last day of business will be on 31 May.
"It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Crate and Barrel Singapore. We have enjoyed serving the community over the past 10 years and would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your loyalty and unwavering support," Crate & Barrel said in a Facebook post.
Crate & Barrel is also offering a discount of up to 40 per cent storewide in its "Thank You Singapore" sale. Both the brand's online retail and ION Orchard stores will be open during regular operating hours until the end of the month.

CB2, Crate & Barrel's sister brand which stocks decorative items, also announced its closure in Singapore.
Crate & Barrel first opened in Singapore in 2013 in Ion Orchard. The two-level store was the brand's first in Asia.
