For those of us who enjoy the island beach life, Sentosa also offers its own Sentosa Islander Membership. Before you start making wild guesses about the fees, it is absolutely free! So, what does it mean to be a Sentosa Islander member?

What Is Sentosa Islander Membership?

The Sentosa Islander Membership is a year-long membership scheme offered by Sentosa Island, one of the most popular recreational hotspots in Singapore.

Upon successful sign-up, you will login to Sentosa Islander Members’ Portal to access your digital card. The basic Islander membership is the Islander Explorer. The other member tiers are the Islander Insider and Islander Priority, which you will unlock upon spending a certain amount at Sentosa.

As an Islander member, you get to enjoy free admissions to Sentosa via Sentosa Express or driving in through Sentosa Gantry alongside other privileges such as exclusive invites to events and promotions around the year.

A piece of good news is that anyone – Singaporean and foreign visitors included – with a valid email and local mobile number is eligible to apply for membership. Islander Membership is open to individuals aged 15 or above.

Also note the other terms:

• An Islander account belongs to the specified Member and cannot be transferred to any other individual(s).

• Earn points with a minimum spend of $20 per receipt.

• Terms & Conditions apply.

If you have children below the age of 12, they are already entitled to unlimited free entry to Sentosa with their student Ez-link card. But you can still consider signing them up for Islander Membership (if they are old enough) to enjoy other benefits including attractions discounts and food and beverage deals.

Admission Entitlements

#1 Unlimited Free Island Admission

If you are entering the island via Sentosa Express, simply login to your Islander account to retrieve and scan your digital card at the Sentosa Express station to enjoy free admission.

If you are driving in through the Sentosa Gantry, you can login to your Islander account to register your vehicle and in-vehicle unit (IU) for free admission.

#2 Four-Hour Complimentary Parking

Gone are the days you have to worry about hefty parking fees while making a trip to Sentosa by car. Complimentary parking is only available for the first 4 hours of your parking each day, exclusively for Islander Insider and Islander Priority members. You will be upgraded to an Islander Insider upon achieving 400 points.

Each Islander Insider or Priority member is entitled to 1-time complimentary parking at selected car parks. This is limited to 1 private vehicle detail per day. Additional charges will apply if you spend more than four hours at a selected car park. If you visit more than one selected car park on the same day, you will also face additional fees.

Selected Sentosa car parks include Beach Station, Imbiah Lookout, Tanjong Beach and Palawan Beach car parks.

#3 Earn Points And Claim Rewards

You get to earn 1 point for every S$1 spend. You have to spend at least $20 in a single receipt to earn points.

How to earn points?

1) Spend a minimum of $20 nett in a single receipt at any participating outlet.
2) Log in to your Islander membership account and click on ‘Earn Point’.
3) Scan the QR code of the participating outlet you spent at and key in the amount you’ve spent. The staff at the participating outlet will help verify.

For your purchases on Sentosa.com.sg, you may visit any of the Sentosa ticketing counters within 30 days from your date of purchase to earn points. Please bring along the email confirmation of your online purchases and your Islander account for verification.

What can you redeem with your points?

For every 400 points earned, you can redeem a $5 cash voucher to offset your spends at any of the participating outlets.

For every 5,000 points earned, you can redeem a hotel night stay on Sentosa.
