Coco Lee's husband Bruce Rockowitz warns against slander

17 Aug – Tired of the many accusations against him, Coco Lee's husband Bruce Rockowitz has released a statement demanding the media to stop making false allegations against him.

In the statement that was released on 15 August, the Canadian businessman dismissed the notion that he did not care about Coco's well-being when she was alive, writing that the singer told him about a potential cancer diagnosis last summer while they were on holiday in the Maldives.

"I immediately arranged for her to return to Hong Kong for medical examinations. The day after, she had to fly to mainland China for work while I went to Europe to visit my family," he said.

Rockowitz stated that he found out about Coco's breast cancer diagnosis while the singer was in isolation in China, and was told by the singer that she wants to complete the production of a TV show before getting treatment in Hong Kong.

He also expressed frustration over the media and the public discussing their assets, stating that the allegations surrounding the topic have been completely false.

"I would like to warn those who commit such infringement to immediately stop their actions, delete the false allegations regarding our marriage and assets. The internet is not a lawless space, and I have engaged legal counsel to pursue those who refuse to remove or continue spreading defamatory statements that infringe upon my rights and the rights of my family," he stated.

At the same time, Rockowitz implored everybody to respect Coco's memory and let the singer rest in peace.
