Cobra Electronics Releases New Ultra-Portable Vehicle Jump Starter/Mobile Charger

Offering Dual Capabilities, the Must-Have Cobra JumPack CPP 8000 Packs Enough Punch to Jumpstart a Handful of Vehicles, Yet Small Enough to Fit in a Pocket

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Sep 29, 2015) - Cobra Electronics Corporation, the leading designer and marketer of award-winning automotive, mobile and consumer electronics, today announced the nationwide general availability of the Cobra JumPack™ CPP 8000. Weighing in at just under 10 ounces, the CPP 8000 makes this model the company's most compact and portable emergency power system while offering dual capabilities of mobile-device charging and vehicle jumpstarting, including a range of cars, SUVs, motorcycles, outboard boat engines, etc. multiple times.

With a form factor that is 40 percent smaller than its predecessor, the CPP 8000 model is the perfect companion for travel, outdoor, safety and multipurpose use. The sleek and attractive new model now offers added built-in protection circuitry including short circuit protection, reverse charge, over-charge and reverse polarity protection. The unit holds approximately 85 to 90 percent of its charge for up to eight months.
