China says to remove consumption tax on non-luxury cosmetic products
Beijing (Reuters) - China will remove consumption tax on non-luxury cosmetic products with effect from Oct. 1, the finance ministry said on Friday.
The ministry also adjusted the consumption tax on high-end cosmetic and beauty products to 15 percent, the finance ministry said in a statement, without providing further detail.
