With the launch of the carnival, customers can go green with their festive celebrations by participating in an exciting lineup of sustainable initiatives such as M1's Trade-Up Bazaar, environmentally friendly giveaways and a unique Pet Pebble painting activity.
Be Rewarded For Reducing Waste These Holidays
From 3 Dec to 9 Dec, M1 customers can visit M1's flagship store at Peranakan Place to take part in M1's Trade-Up Bazaar. Through this, M1 is encouraging customers to trade in their old devices in store with attractive prices for their old devices to reduce e-waste disposal. These old devices will receive a new lease of life by being repurposed for new devices or being sent to recycling partners where their materials can help support sustainable practices. All customers with eligible trade-in devices can join this program.
To further minimise waste during the gifting season, customers are welcome to visit the store to claim their complimentary plantable Christmas gift card and eco-friendly wrapping paper. This plantable gift card is made up of biodegradable eco-paper embedded with seeds. When the card is planted in a pot of soil, the paper composts away, giving new life to plants with zero waste.

To champion this, M1 has organised family-friendly activities such as Pet Pebble painting. Anyone who signs up or recontracts their M1 mobile plans at any M1 Shop or via the e-store from now until 31 December will receive a complimentary Pet Pebble kit while stocks last. They can decorate and customise their personalised Pet Pebble with a variety of art materials in store or in their own time and share their creation on Instagram to stand a chance to win attractive prizes in our Pet Pebble competition.
Members of the public can also "adopt" a Pet Pebble painted by the children and volunteers from a local charity, Beyond Social Services (BSS). Donations can be made directly to BSS via a QR code and all proceeds from Pet Pebble adoption will go towards them. this holiday season with M1's Eco-Christmas Carnival.
