CapitaLand Expands Presence In Vietnam With $200 Million Residential Development

CapitaLand, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, CapitaLand (Vietnam) Holdings, has entered into a joint venture with Thien Duc Trading-Contruction Company to develop a prime site in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, into an upscale residential development with approximately 1,000 homes.

The development, which has an estimated total project value of US$150 million (approximately $211 million), marks the group’s seventh residential project in Vietnam, increasing the group’s Vietnam residential portfolio to over 7,500 units across Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

The group will hold a 80 percent stake in the project, while Thien Duc will hold the remaining 20 percent.
