Capital World – Another Step Towards Increasing Revenue

Capital World introduces its first biggest indoor theme park concept in Southeast Asia, MCM Studio. Given its wide selection of immersive entertainment together and the very first indoor circus in Asia, it is expected to be well-received by citizens of local and neighboring countries for those whom are seeking an entertainment retreat.

MCM Studio is also known as the fifth largest indoor theme park worldwide upon completion by August, it is said to occupy the entire third and fourth level of the mall, given a total of eleven levels.

The Indoor theme park will feature three main sections, Movie Planet, Cartoon Planet and Music Planet.

With the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual (VR) technology, Movie Planet will rejuvenate the electrifying scenes from blockbuster movies, appealing to the vast majority of consumers. At the same time, Cartoon Planet will showcase classic cartoon characters into an environment whereby the characters come to life, playing interactive and educational games with the children.

Music Planet will tap into theatrical and musical performances by internationally acclaimed artists and showcases a circus, offering a diversity of quality programmes that will induce visitors into returning for more showstopper performances.

Capital 21 – the mall – will exhibit aspects of well-known cities from five different continents, Asia, Australia, America, Europe and Middle East. In addition, its unique concept bears a resemblance to one of Bangkok’s famous mega shopping mall, Terminal 21, which has been a great success.

Short-term stays have been considered as 690 units of serviced apartments are currently being built on towers on top of the building. Furthermore, development for two hotels, Hilton Garden Inn and Planet Hotel are in place, which will be built from the ground, are slated to open in 2019.

The entertainment prospects of the project remain comparatively advantageous to attract visitors from the Southeast Asia region as it aims to become a one-stop entertainment hub and shopping haven. The mall has also signed an undisclosed amount of lease agreements with reputable local and international brands such as Starbucks, Old Town White Coffee and Guardian.

Capital City is located along Jalan Tampoi which is just a 15-minute ride away from Woodlands Causeway and 30-minute ride away from Senai International Airport. There is an ease of access for tourists coming in, especially for Singaporeans who are looking for a retreat or new form of entertainment provided by Capital World.
