LONDON (AP) _ BrightSphere Investment Group (BSIG) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $23 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the London-based company said it had profit of 22 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 43 cents per share.

The asset manager posted revenue of $214.5 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $136.4 million, or $1.26 per share. Revenue was reported as $928.2 million.

BrightSphere Investment Group shares have dropped 27 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 16 percent in the last 12 months.
