Bitauto Holdngs: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

BEIJING (AP) _ Bitauto Holdings Ltd. (BITA) on Thursday reported a loss of $132.5 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Beijing-based company said it had a loss of $1.86. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.16 per share.

The marketing company focused on the automotive industry posted revenue of $385.8 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $172.4 million, or $2.43 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.54 billion.

For the current quarter ending in April, Bitauto Holdngs said it expects revenue in the range of $244.2 million to $258.6 million.

Bitauto Holdngs shares have decreased 24% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 27% in the last 12 months.
