Priority Pass has more than 1,500 airport lounges around the world and is currently the largest lounge network worldwide. DragonPass is a China-based lounge network with around 1,300 lounges in China (including some located at railway stations). Plaza Premium has a smaller network of about 200 lounges globally, but their lounges are positioned to be more premium.

Regardless of the lounge, most offer quiet and relaxing environments with amenities such as refreshments and bar service, shower facilities, and other entertainment facilities.

Can two people use the same card for lounge access? Can you take your family members to the airport lounge with your credit card?

Across the board, complimentary airport lounge access is limited to the principal cardholder, and complimentary access for guests depends on the type of credit card you are holding. You may be charged a fee for each guest you bring along with you.

Can you use the lounge even when you are flying economy class?

Yes! Airport lounge access is available to credit card holders regardless of the flight class they are in. As long as you have a valid credit card that grants complimentary airport lounge access, you're good to go.

How do you know if your card is eligible for access to an airport lounge?

Airport lounge access is usually marketed as one of the top credit card perks to and it is also more common in credit cards that offer miles or enhanced travel benefits. If you're unsure, check with your credit card issuer.

Another thing to note is that, for some credit cards, lounge access is not automatic, and you may need to apply for the lounge network membership (for free) before you can avail its perks — check before you travel.
