Yahoo Finance Bela Padilla maintains friendship with ex-boyfriend Neil Arce
29 Jul - Although most people would rather not keep in contact with their former significant other, Bela Padilla stated that she has no qualms being friends with former boyfriend and producer Neil Arce.
In an interview with G# San Diego recently, Bela stated that the two of them were able to be very professional and mature when they broke up, which happened right in the middle of shooting, "Luck at First Sight".
Said the actress, "The industry is very small. I don't want to avoid going to a certain building because I might run into someone. I hate that feeling. Why would I stress myself like that?"
"We are all at an age where we don't need to fight or bicker anymore. There's really nothing to fight about. The reason why we broke up was because we didn't like each other that way anymore," she added.
As for Angel Locsin, who is now engaged to marry Neil, Bela stated that she maintains a good relationship with the actress.
"I still consider Angel a friend. I feel like if she needs anything from me or I need anything from her, we can still go to each other. There's no animosity at all," she said.
Bela and Neil ended their relationship in 2017 after four years together. They continued to work with each other despite the split.
The actress is now dating foreign boyfriend Norman Bay.
