It’s no secret we’re huge fans of pink gin at Good Housekeeping and always on the lookout for new ones to try so we’re delighted that Altitude Alpine has launched a Strawberry Pink Gin that sounds delicious.

Born in the ski resort of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc in France, the makers say that the gin “balances the crisp, juniper taste of the Original Alpine Dry Gin, with the sweetness of alpine strawberries.”

The company launched four years ago and the new Alpine Strawberry Pink Gin is the brand’s second product. The original Altitude Alpine Dry Gin came first and is infused with a unique mountain botanical blend of juniper, together with alpine floral and citrus notes. Its taste is said to “capture the experiences, sensations and spirit of the mountains.”

Although when you think of strawberries, you likely think of long hot summer days, this spirit really does work all year round. Serving-wise it can be used in a gin cocktail or served traditionally as a G&T with an ice-cold fizzy tonic and a wedge of citrus.

Priced at £35 for 70cl bottle, for every bottle sold, Altitude donate funds to CREA Mont-Blanc to support scientific research into the impact of climate change in the Alps.

This bottle would make a lovely (and delicious) Christmas present.
